This Christmas is supposed to be one of the hottest on record, and if temperatures over the last few weeks are anything to go by, the app on our phones might finally get one of its predictions right (it’s been a long time coming!).
Somehow, among that heat, not only are we expected to get our Chrissy shopping done, but in that little break between the big man coming with prezzies, and the fireworks on New Years, many of us will also try to fit in 12-months worth of odd jobs we haven’t had time to do around the house or the farm.
Well, at the Co-op we have your back on that one!
This year, we will be taking limited downtime over Christmas, and staying open as much as possible, so we can make sure you have what you need to shorten your to-do list, before 2024 rolls around.
We have bedding and accessories in store so you can finally update your dog’s décor, fencing equipment and tools so you can tidy up around the paddocks, new hay deliveries so you can freshen up coops, cages and stalls, we have tools, wardrobe updates and about 12,000 or so more products to choose from.

- 23 Dec: 8am to 1pm

A QUICK CHRISSY MESSAGE
This year has been a long and eventful year, for our Co-op and for our community, in general.
Like all of Australia, we have seen both tragedy and moments of real joy — and what makes each of those so meaningful to us, and we’re sure to you, is the way we see the people of the Southern Highlands come together and support each other. It’s moving, and it’s genuinely inspiring to those of us who want nothing more than to see everyone in our community thrive.
While it feels like the world is somehow getting less predictable and none of us can be sure what’s to come, something we do know is worryingly, 2024 promises to be one the hottest years we’ve ever had. More positively, it will also bring us new ideas, technology and ways of coping with challenges, like climate, that will continue to arise.
For us at the Co-op, and we include you — our community— in that, it is also going to be a really exciting year as we work together to introduce new products, services and initiatives that can help our community embrace change, move with it, and continue to build resilience and strength in the Southern Highlands and beyond.
From all of our team, to you and your family, we wish you a safe, happy and relaxing Christmas, and a New Year full of opportunity and prosperity.
As always, we look forward to the chance to continue to serve and support you, and we are really excited to share with you all the plans for 2024 that we have started to build out through this year.
Merry Christmas from Mark and the team at Bowral Co-op.
